Bangladeshi Muslim devotees offer prayers during the first day of an Islamic congregation's second phase in Tongi, 20 kilometers (13 miles) north of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Devotees have been participating in the annual event, which is one of the world’s largest congregations of Muslims, on the sandy bank of the River Turag just outside Dhaka, since the 1960s.
