LAYLAT AL-QADR: Millions of the faithful throng the Haram Masjid (Grand Mosque) in Makkah on Thursday, the 27th night of Ramadan, to perform Umrah and offer special prayers. It is believed that the Laylat Al-Qadr (the night of power), which is better than 1,000 months, falls on this night when the Holy Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
