فطرانہ ادا كرنے كا وقت

 الحمد للہ:

 

فطرانہ كا وقت نماز عيد كے بعد سے شروع نہيں ہوتا، بلكہ اس كا وقت رمضان كے آخرى دن كے سورج غروب ہونے سے شروع ہوتا ہے جو كہ شوال كى پہلى رات ہوتى ہے ( اور اسے چاند رات كہا جاتا ہے ) اور يہ وقت نماز عيد كے وقت ختم ہو جاتا ہے.

اس ليے كہ نبى كريم صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم نے نماز عيد سے قبل فطرانہ ادا كرنے كا حكم ديا ہے.

اور اس ليے بھى كہ ابن عباس رضى اللہ تعالى عنہما سے مروى ہے كہ:

 " جس نے نماز عيد سے قبل فطرانہ ادا كيا تو يہ فطرانہ قبول ہے، اور جس نے نماز عيد كے بعد ادا كيا تو يہ عام صدقات ميں سے ايك صدقہ ہے "

سنن ابو داود ( 2 / 262 - 263 ) حديث نمبر ( 1609 ) سنن ابن ماجہ ( 1 / 585 ) حديث نمبر ( 1827 ) سنن دار قطنى ( 2 / 138 ) مستدرك الحاكم ( 1 / 409 ).

اور فطرانہ عيد سے ايك يا دو يوم قبل ادا كرنا بھى جائز ہے، كيونكہ ابن عمر رضى اللہ تعالى عنہما بيان كرتے ہيں كہ:

 " رسول كريم صلى اللہ عليہ وسلم نے رمضان سے فطرانہ فرض كيا ..... "

اور اس كے آخر ميں كہا:

 " اور صحابہ كرام ايك يا دو دن قبل ہى ادا كر ديا كرتے تھے "

چنانچہ جس نے بھى عمدا وقت كے بعد ادا كيا تو وہ گنہگار ہے، اسے اس تاخير ميں توبہ كرنى چاہيے اور وہ فقراء ميں تقسيم كرے"

اللہ تعالى ہى توفيق دينے والا ہے.

 When zakaat al-fitr should be paid

 Praise be to Allaah. 

 The time for paying zakaat al-fitr does not begin after the Eid prayer, rather it starts after sunset on the last day of Ramadaan, which is the first night of the month of Shawwaal, and it ends with the Eid prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) commanded that it should be paid before the prayer. Ibn ‘Abbaas (may Allaah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever pays it before the prayer, it is accepted zakaah (i.e., zakaat al-fitr), and whoever pays it after the prayer, it is ordinary charity.” Narrated by Abu Dawood, 2/262-263, no. 1609; Ibn Maajah, 1/585, no. 1827; al-Daaraqutni, 2/138; al-Haakim, 1/409. 

 It is permissible to pay it one or two days before that, because of the report narrated by Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) who said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) enjoined sadaqat al-fitr in Ramadaan.” According to another report, they used to pay it one or two days before the end of Ramadaan. 

 Whoever delays it after its time has sinned, and he has to repent for delaying and give it to the poor. 

 And Allaah is the Source of strength.
